Victoria BC, Canada. 27, July 2010 --/ Aviation Renewables will deliver a portable solar LED helipad lighting system for civilian medevac operations carried out in Tanzania. The Avlite AV70-HI tactical helipad edge lights and solar LED beacon will be supported by frangible quick deploy tiles, battery chargers, a tool kit and the Solar Series Portable LED Wind Cone. Customer operations required a tactical, rapid response, solar powered LED helipad lighting system capable of being transported, unpacked and set up within 30 minutes for day or nighttime operations. Both the Avlite solar LED helipad lighting and Solar Series Portable LED Wind Cone will be capable of charging via external charge ports and a detachable solar energy control system (ECS) during storage periods in the hot climates of Tanzania. Manufactured by Avlite Systems and P Wedge Company Ltd., the solar helipad lighting systems provide civil, defense and humanitarian aid operations with a reliable, custom designed, safe portable helipad lighting kit for visible and infrared LED operations. Aviation Renewables will support the initial system delivery, testing and logistics with further systems required in the near future.
