FAQ - PORTABLE AIRFIELD LIGHTING

What is the application of the portable LIGHTING? Where is the aerodrome located,
if there is the case?

The 1200 series RELM is designed to fit most edge lights made by most manufacturers.  There are three different attachment methods to ensure the RELM will fit on your particular light.  See graphic bottom right.

DO YOU NEED THE LIGHTS BE ICAO or faa COMPATIBLE? Do you need low or medium intensity?

The lifetime of the sleeve is directly proportional to the climate it is used.  The sleeves are resistant to cold and to UV and can be expected to last 3-5 years in most climates.  The sleeves can be quickly, easily and inexpensively replaced without removing the assembly from the edge light.

Will the operation be emergency only or for scheduled FLIGHTS? If so, how many flights per week, day and night?

How often would you use the lights.
