The LED PAPI System is a highly efficient Precision Approach Path Indicator that uses advanced LED technology to provide pilots with precise visual guidance during final approach. The system typically consists of four light units positioned at the side of the runway, adjacent to the origin of the glide path. Pilots see two red and two white lights when on the correct approach; more white lights indicate a path that is too high, while more red lights indicate a path that is too low.

The LED PAPI offers several advantages over traditional systems, including lower power consumption, reduced maintenance, and increased reliability. The LEDs ensure consistent light intensity and color, providing clear, sharp transitions between red and white for accurate slope information in all conditions. The system is available in configurations for both AC voltage (Style A) and series circuits (Style B), supporting a wide range of airfield electrical setups.

With robust construction and optional features like heated lenses and remote control, the LED PAPI System delivers dependable, long-lasting performance for both commercial and military airfields.
