DVOR / DME

The Doppler Very High Frequency Omni Directional Range refers to combined radio navigation station for aircraft, which consists of two radio beacons, placed together and a VHF omnidirectional range (VOR). The DVOR produces an angle between the station and the receiver in the aircraft providing measurement needed to produce a navigational “fix” using a chart.

The system provides maximum operational versatility and flexibility by utilizing modular configuration concepts and modern technologies. It modular design in conjunction with its powerful BITE system allows fast failure location and minimal repair time.
