Internally lighted windsocks are more visible for pilots than externally lighted which provides better visibility and increased safety.
The installation of a solar powered, self-contained wind cone keeps installation and maintenance costs low, eliminating the need for trenching wires and a second concrete base. The Solar Series LED windsocks come with a durable and colorfast PVC coated nylon fabric that is reinforced at the mouth and triple stitched to ensure longevity. The wind sock fabric comes in solid orange or 5 band orange and white.
Solar Series LED Wind Cones are available in a number of different models covering portable applications as well as permanent airfield, permanent FAA elevated helipad compliance or permanent ICAO & FAA surface helipad compliance.
