Aviation Renewables Awarded Design, Installation, Training and Commissioning for Solar LED Airfield Lighting Systems in Asia

Aviation Renewables was tasked with the design, installation, training and commisioning of an LED airfield Lighting System at a private civil airport in Lao PDR. The system features a Solar Series LED PAPI and LED runway edge, and threshold lighting. Aviation Renewables traveled to the site for the first phase, and had the system installed and operational in 3 days for the self-contained approach system to increase the safety of all approaches. As part of a longer term capital investment, the second phase consisted of LED runway lighting to enable safe night landings.

Aviation Renewables supplied, trained and commissioned a portable LED runway lighting system in the Caribbean

Aviation Renewables was tasked with the supply, training and commissioning of a portable LED runway lighting system for an International Airport located in the Caribbean. The entire portable LED runway lighting system solution is stored, transported and charged in the civilian designed mobile trailer. The airport is able to transport the equipment to any location within the air eld within minutes notice as a contingency on demand system, ready for quick deployment in the case of a power failure to the main runway lighting system or unforeseen circumstances such as a displaced threshold or natural disaster.

Aviation Renewables has been contracted to supply and install two 4-Box LED PAPI systems powered by standalone power systems, at a remote runway in central Africa. In addition to the LED PAPI systems, an LED approach lighting system and autonomous runway marking system will be installed.

Aviation Renewables delivers Airfield Lighting to Southeast Asia

Aviation Renewables recently delivered an Airfield Lighting System to a minesite in Southeast Asia. The system includes Medium Intensity Runway Lights (MIRLS) and illuminated Windcones and will augment the solar LED PAPI that the mine currently uses. After consultation with Aviation Renewables, the customer elected to install a Medium Intensity Runway Lighting system, based on the anticipated usage profile. The customer operates a fly-in-fly-out mine, and the reliability of airport operations is vital to the smooth operation of the mine. In addition, the lights add a measure of safety in the case of emergency aircraft operations for MEDEVAC purposes.

Aviation Renewables delivers Autonomous Helipad Lighting System to Mexico

Aviation Renewables has delivered an Autonomous Helipad Lighting System and a Portable Helipad Windcone to a private operator in Mexico. Aviation Renewables was able to specifically design this lighting package to stay within the customer’s budget and desire to meet compliance with ICAO specifications.

The Autonomous lighting system is designed for quick deployment, for operational readiness for emergency night operations. The individual lights are completely self-contained advanced LED units, incorporating a wireless interface for programming, monitoring and controlling the lights. The lights are pre-programmed to create a TLOF and sequenced approach system.

USAF installs fifth phase of Solar Series Elevated Runway Guard Lights (ERGL) at undisclosed Air Base in USA

Aviation Renewables in partnership with Flight Light Inc. and JSF Technologies, has supplied a total of 39 Solar Series Elevated Runway Guard Lights (ERGL) to a US Air Base, in support of USAF airfield operations. The Solar Series ERGL is a self-contained, self-charging, power free, cost efficient solution, requiring minimal installation and maintenance. The Solar Series ERGL offers a quick and effective solution to airfields, in support of efforts to prevent unnecessary runway incursions and over-all airfield safety.

Aviation Renewables consulted in the design of a complete Solar Series LED Hold Position flashing beacon system for Toronto Pearson International Airport (TPIA), Canada’s largest international airport. The Solar Series LED Hold Position Light features a 24/7 warning beacon mounted on top of stop signs located throughout the airfield, providing safety operations for both day and night.
